Cold Spring Brewing is the nation’s largest beverage producer — producing, packaging and distributing soft drinks, beer, malt beverages and energy drinks.
Cold Spring Brewing Co. is expanding its footprint to reach more customers across the United States. Brynwood Partners, the Connecticut-based private equity firm that owns Cold Spring Brewing, has acquired Carolina Beverage Group, according to a news release.
"It provides additional resources for (Cold Spring Brewing) because they can attract more customers because of the geographical footprint that we have now," said Dario Margve, managing director at Brynwood. More: Cold Spring Brewing Co. wins silver medal in canned beer contest The acquisition adds two new production sites to the firm's portfolio; Carolina Beverage Group manufactures beverage products at facilities in Mooresville, N.C. and Fort Worth, Texas.
Along with Cold Spring Brewing, the three sites have 650,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 1.7 million square feet of warehouse availability.
